A quilter's confession #1

I save fabric because I have a fear I am going to ruin it if I cut into it.
Whew! Glad I got that out! I have always loved and feared fresh new art and craft supplies! Nothing scarier than a sharp pencil and a blank piece of paper.
Yes, I purchase beautiful fabrics, fondle them, fold them,
and leave them on my shelf.

I cut some up today, was a bit scary, but the quilt top came together nicely.

These were a variety of batiks in orange, red and fuchsia. Bright, warm, sunny on a grey winter day. Next up, quilting!

IT is just beautiful Kheli and the colors fit so well together. That is my fear, awful colors!

LOL! You hit the nail on the head for me. Cutting it up and ruining it, ended up with an awful color combination.

Kheli, this turned out gorgeous.

Cutting fabric is almost like ending dream about it. We buy stash and dream what we are going to do, we make plans, and in mid time change a mind 100 times. And after fabric is cut all is done. It is someway sad but... we move on and buy new set... and dream again...We are so lucky....
Love you new quilt. Colors and combination. Great.
